Career coach and founder of the known Ricerca Attiva del Lavoro (Active Job Search) course in Italy, with the aim of helping foreigners to seek employment in Italy, Marcela Oliveira developed several courses available in Italy and online.

arrived in Italy during the Christmas season in 2011, falling in love at first sight with Italy and its culture. After a few months the reality arrived to her: the linguistic difficulty, the lack of friends and the change began to have its importance. Marcela, like all foreigners, felt the challenge of entering a new country and a new community, but with great determination and a defined action plan, she was able to seize every opportunity she had.
Starting from her personal experience and the difficulties encountered in Milan, that made her reflect and become curious about the process of integration of foreigners in Italy, thus becoming the subject of her research at the university. She understood that work has a fundamental role in the socio-cultural integration of foreigners.
She learned from both her personal experience and from her research in the university, creating the well-known course Ricerca Attiva di Lavoro (Active Job Search) which aims to help foreigners to seek employment in an active way. Understanding how the Italian labor market works has contributed to the creation of numerous successful cases among its students since 2015, which have succeeded in finding their dream jobs.

Since she was a child, Marcela has always been a sweet kid, full of live, curious and very empathetic with the people around her. Her greatest passions were born during her adolescence. With 12 years, after reading her first book on psychology, she decided to become a psychologist when she would grow up. The other profession she had also thought about was to be a politician to ``change the world``. The social was her mission since adolescence, in fact with 15 years, with the support of a local church, she started working with children in vulnerable situations (who lived in the ``favelas``). Helped them to collect non-perishable food for their family. She actively participated in the preparation of theatrical performances and dance choreography with the aim of educating and entertaining them.
Study path
She entered the university of Psychology with 17 years in Recife concluding it in the South of Brazil at Unidavi - Universidade para o Desenvolvimento do Alto Vale do Itajaí. Her curiosity led her to make a master's degree in Italy, which she completed with the highest grades (110/110 e Lode) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2018, she finished a Corporate Coach course.

For Marcela, work plays an important role in socio-cultural integration, satisfaction and personal well-being.
Starting from the background of study and from her own difficulties she has created this innovative course which aims to help foreigners to look for a job in a systematic, strategic and active way.
This course was developed in Northern Italy and it involved important partners who were of fundamental importance in making this project achievable. The main partner is Randstad, a Dutch employment agency with branches in the world's major cities, which deals with job search, recruitment, vocational training and the entry of people into the labor market, which has been financing the project since 2015. It's also recognised by the Consulate General of Brazil in Milan, which has become a dissemination partner in the Brazilian community in Italy.
